This navigation light was used on the U-84 submarine.

This light was submitted for repair and the glass was replaced on September 2, 1943. Since the U84 was sunk by the Allies during this period, this light was unable to find its way back onto the submarine. A beautiful, rare memento of a sunken U-boat
