Original Samurai Katana Sword with CERTIFICATE!!!
ORIGINAL KATANA with CERTIFICATE for COLLECTORS and ENTHUSIASTS of Japanese tradition.
SORI – (blade) length 65cm, height 3.24cm, thickness 1.4cm
HAMON – (hardening line) beautifully visible and included on the certificate
ORIGINAL TSUKA – (made of wood) the one the sword received right after forging to rest in (rare)
TSUKA – (hilt) made of wood and covered with white ray skin
TSUKA ITO – (hilt wrapping) made of silk
HEBAKI – beautifully crafted with a pattern imitating falling rain and included on the certificate
TSUBA and TSUBA GASHIRA – very nicely crafted with a forged butterfly and flower motif made of two-tone metal
SAYA – (scabbard) Beautifully crafted specifically for this sword in Japan during certification
ORIGINAL SAYA – (scabbard made of wood) the one the sword received right after forging to rest in (rare)
SAGEO – (scabbard string) beautifully braided in white and blue.

OSHIGATA – (hand-drawn drawing of the tempering lines) a hand-drawn drawing on rice paper for wall hanging; only high-quality swords have this, made during certification.

KATANA STAND – 3-seat padded stand, made from a 60-year-old lacquered box, with 4 dragon paw-shaped legs (not pictured – recently added to the set).

The katana is in very good condition, preserved and oiled with a special oil.
