Original Pre-War Allgemeine-SS NCO Visor Cap

This authentic Waffen-SS / Allgemeine-SS enlisted/NCO cap features a classic black wool top with matching wool band and white piping, representing the distinctive early SS uniform style of the pre-war period.
The cap retains a beautiful matching set of early tombac SS insignia manufactured by Deschler & Sohn, one of the most respected producers of Third Reich insignia. The skull and SS eagle remain well preserved and display excellent detail, adding significant collector value.
The chinstrap is properly riveted and secured with two original black buttons, maintaining the correct period construction. The visor remains nicely lacquered, showing minimal wear and excellent preservation.
Inside, the cap features the textbook “SS RZM” stamp along with the classic SS runic diamond lining, both strong indicators of authenticity. The leather sweatband remains intact with only light signs of age. Beneath the sweatband is the original RZM SS tag marked “Tuchmütze für SS” with the maker code, further confirming the cap’s originality and period manufacture.
This cap is size 57 and presents extremely well overall, making it a beautiful and desirable example of a pre-war Allgemeine-SS NCO visor cap.
