Rare authentic Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross

Rare and highly desirable Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross produced by the prestigious Berlin manufacturer C. E. Juncker during World War II. The Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross was one of the highest awards for bravery and leadership in the German armed forces.
This example is a three-piece constructed cross, featuring a silver frame marked “800” and a magnetic iron core, confirming traditional wartime construction methods. The frame carries the LDO maker code “L/12”, identifying production by C. E. Juncker of Berlin, one of the most respected manufacturers of German military decorations.
The suspension ring is produced by S&L (Steinhauer & Lück) and is marked “800” for silver content, which is consistent with period manufacturing practices for these decorations.
The cross remains in very good condition, with strong details and excellent preservation. It is accompanied by its original confectioned neck ribbon, exactly as worn by recipients when displayed around the neck.
