Militaria – Lot German bayonet – Police bayonet

1. A German firefighter bayonet. A so-called “Fachinenmesser” and not a real bayonet since it lacks a “slot” for locking. More to be considered a parade object. These were produced with 20 and 25 cm. long blades. This one has 25 cm. Complete and nice condition, with bayonet hanger (with small old seam on the back)

2. German parade bayonet. A so-called KS98 with real deer bone grip and these are a bit rare. Original hanger. Nice condition. Red felt in the locking groove. Nice manufacturer’s mark by ACS with weight symbol. Alfred Coppel Solingen.

3. Very nice German police bayonet without bellows. A so-called “Polizei Dienst Seitengewehr” with approx. 33 cm. blade. These came with and without a locking groove and button. This one is without. Marked with Coppel’s beautiful logo on both sides of the blade and that is unusual. Also marked S.M.V.2001 on the guard.

4. As above but with locking groove and button. This one has a very nice and unmarked bellows. Very difficult to find unmarked bellows. Guard marked with “75”. Manufacturer’s mark by Eickhorn. Excellent condition.
